Non certified CPR AED for self enrichment, babysitting or caregiving

Do you know what to do in case someone has a cardiac arrest or has a choking episode? Are you planning to take care of a loved one or wanting to baby sit? If you wish to learn CPR for self enrichment, caring for a loved one or for the purpose of baby sitting, this is the class you need. This class covers the basics of Adult CPR/AED, Child and Infant CPR/AED and choking. Children as young as 11 years old can take this course. Emphasis will be placed on hands on CPR skills. Skills session

If you have completed your online classes (Heartsaver First Aid/ CPR/ BLS) from the American Heart Association website and need to complete your skills session with an instructor to obtain your AHA ECard, please contact us via email (mycprtrainer@gmail.com) call or text (630)833-2852 to schedule your session. Usually it is a 1:1 session with the instructor.

Need to renew your card but don’t have the time?

Take the online course instead…go to AHAonline.org and take your course online. Heartsaver CPR AED, Heartsaver First Aid, and Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid classes are available on line. Upon completion, schedule a skills session with one of our instructors. Bring your Heartcode certificate with you and take the skills test. Your ECard will be available the day of the session. How to claim your eCard following your class

* After class, you will receive an email from eCards@heart.org with information and a link (check your junk mail)
* Click on the link, confirm your name (check spelling, if necessary contact us for spelling correction. DO NOT continue till corrections have been made) and email, set up security question for future use and follow instructions.
* Claim your card
* You will receive a second email from AHA acknowledging and thanking you for claiming your eCard.
* You may access your eCard anytime at www.heart.org/mycards

Scheduling Parts 2 & 3 Skills Session

We schedule Parts 2 & 3 Skills Sessions on an as needed basis. The session typically runs about 30 minutes. We are able to schedule and complete a session during our normal business hours (9 AM to 8 PM, Monday to Saturday) when a class is not in session.

If you require a skills test, check our calendar for an hour when a formal class is not scheduled and contact our office by phone, email or fill out and submit a request using our form on the right hand side of any of our webpages.

To expedite the issuance of your training card, be sure to have your AHA Part 1, Certificate of Completion in hand.
