The American Heart Association offers a flexible, E-Learning option for healthcare and non-healthcare professionals known as Part 1. This self-paced, Internet based program in conjunction with a successful completion of a scheduled Parts 2 & 3 session with our AHA instructor, will result in an issued training card.
To begin the E-Learning process, a student MUST complete Part 1 at the American Heart Association website. Upon successful completion of Part 1, a certificate of completion must be printed. Because the E-Learning portion is offered by the AHA, the Part 1 fee is paid directly to them.
For Part 1:
These are the AHA E-Learning courses that we support:
- AHA Heartcode Basic Life Support (BLS) Online
- AHA Heartsaver CPR & AED Online
- AHA Heartsaver CPR & AED with Adult First Aid Online
- AHA Heartsaver CPR & AED with Pediatric First Aid Online
For Parts 2 & 3:
Once the AHA E-Learning course has been successfully completed, call our office to schedule a Parts 2 & 3 session with our AHA instructor. Be sure to bring the Part 1 certificate of completion to the Parts 2 & 3 session. With a successful completion of the Parts 2 & 3 session and a Part 1 certificate of completion in hand, our AHA instructor will issue a training card.
