Non-Healthcare

AHA Heartsaver CPR & AED classes are for non-healthcare professionals who are required or would benefit from being trained in the delivery of CPR and the use of an AED. Adult or Pediatric First Aid is optional. AHA Heartsaver CPR & AED classes are offered Monday thru Saturday with morning and late afternoon sessions. Please check the calendar for scheduled classes. If none is conveniently scheduled, please call our office and we will try to accommodate your request.

AHA Heartsaver CPR & AED 

The AHA Heartsaver CPR & AED class teaches adult/child/infant CPR and use of an AED. Students also learn to recognize and manage choking in adult/child/infant victims. This class is ideal workplace training where having non-healthcare first responders may prove invaluable for the safety of customers and/or employees.

Intended Audience: first responders, security personnel, teachers, parents, lifeguards, airline personnel, family members of patients with a high risk of sudden cardiac death and other non-healthcare professionals

Topics Include:

  • Adult CPR
  • Child CPR
  • Infant CPR
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Use
  • Choking

AHA Heartsaver CPR & AED with Adult First Aid

In addition to AHA Heartsaver CPR & AED, this class teaches the non-healthcare professional how to recognize and manage situations such as choking, low blood sugar, bleeding, broken bones and sprains, seizures, strokes, insect bites and stings, and temperature related injuries.

Intended Audience: non-healthcare professionals who need training in CPR and AED use with additional first aid training

Cost: $95 includes student manual

  • Blood Borne Pathogen can be included in the class for an additional cost.  A manual comes with this class.

AHA Heartsaver CPR & AED with Pediatric First Aid

In addition to AHA Heartsaver CPR & AED, this class teaches the non-healthcare professional the management of illness and injury in a child or infant in the first few minutes of an emergency until professional help arrives. Topics include First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies and Environmental Emergencies.

Intended Audience: parents, adoptive parents, babysitters, daycare center and child care workers, teachers, camp counselors and any other non-healthcare professionals who need training in CPR and AED use with additional training in pediatric first aid

AHA First Aid Class

This class is for those who only want or need to learn first aid.

Course Lenght: 2 1/2 Hours

Cost: $55 includes student manual

AHA Friends & Family CPR & AED

The AHA Friends and Family CPR Class is for the general public who are not required to have a training card but would benefit from CPR and AED training. Groups of 5 or more, 6th person is free of charge.

Course Length: 3 Hours
Cost: $25 with booklet
